Class Overview
This class builds on the foundations laid in Class One, introducing further handling and socialisation. Dogs begin progressing to more advanced versions of the basic commands: sit, come, and down.
Distractions are increased and dogs are expected to hold positions for longer periods. A key new skill introduced is the return to starting position, which helps prepare dogs for the more refined exercises in higher classes. Heeling is introduced as a more structured extension of the controlled walk, and the stand command is taught for the first time.
